As Graduate Coordinator I serve the community of 26 fraternities and sororities on Rowan University's campus. I most closely work with the 9 fraternity chapters who are aligned through the NIC in our IFC. I serve to help the overall community by organizing our Homecoming float competition and spring Greek Week festivities. I also have worked with our Lambda Theta Alpha Sorority Inc, to judge their Step, Stroll, and Salute competition.
In the Fall of 2012 I dedicated myself to full time graduate study in the field of Mathematics to further my career and personal goals. I will be focusing on theoretical mathematics as well as Data Analysis. My goals are to create long lasting connections in the greater Philadelphia area in both academic and entrepreneurial circles.
I tutor students in all types of mathematics including middle and high school courses in addition to college level mathematics, SAT and Accuplacer Test preparation.
I served the Point Pleasant Borough School District for four years as a Mathematics teacher. During that time I was responsible for classroom instruction of all math topics including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, Probablitiy, and Data Analysis. In addition to these topics I also helped students prepare for the following exams: NJASK 8, NJ HSPA, SAT and Accuplacer College Placement test.
I have also provided professional development on the district level regarding the use of instructional technology and engaging lesson design.
Seasonal Position - Assisted with the hiring of a 40 person summer camp staff and served as the supervisor for those 40 camp counselors and directors.
